Steve's been working as a Physiotherapist since 2013, working with world class athletes, Olympians and weekend warriors. He's discovered that frameworks based around treating the whole person are not only more effective for pain relief  but also give people long term resolution of symptoms. He's worked with many internationally acclaimed Physiotherapists such as Dr. LJ Lee, Carol Kennedy and Adjunct Professor Deb Treloar.

Steve's passion for physiotherapy started at an early age, he's known the struggles of persistent pain and injury after suffering a significant head injury and crush fracture to his spine. He's since used evidence based approaches like manual therapy, the Pilates method, dry needling and mindfulness to help others who are in similar situations. To understand a bit more about these methods there are articles here

Steve's particularly interested in neck, back, shoulder and foot injuries. He enjoys working with athletes but he's also drawn to complex and chronic conditions.

Steve's post graduate training includes:

  • Andrew Huttons Integrated Dry Needling 1

  • Lyn Watson Shoulder Level 1

  • IMT Dry Needling Level 1

  • Sports Thorax - Dr. LJ Lee

  • Connect Therapy Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 - Dr. LJ Lee

  • Clinical Pilates within ConnectTherapy
