Understanding neuroimmune biology. All of our biological systems are interconnected and the effect of stress can wreak havoc on just about all of them. Luckily our bodies continuously recreate themselves - they just need the right instructions.

Gabor Maté CM (born January 6, 1944) is a Hungarian-born Canadian physician. He has a background in family practice and a special interest in childhood development and trauma, and in their potential lifelong impacts on physical and mental health, including on autoimmune disease, cancer, ADHD, addictions, and a wide range of other conditions.

Psychological stress rarely occurs in the present moment. It is almost always from when the mind is living in a perceivable past or future. We can learn to change unhelpful values and beliefs with an ancient strategy known as 'calling yourself back'. This tool will help you direct your awareness to the present moment and whatever is meaningful to you. 

What you have learned so far is skills. This is a bit like learning an instrument - it requires practice and repletion. A bit like going to the gym for the mind. Guided meditation's are a bit like having a personal trainer, they're good to start with but over time you should try develop your own practice. Learn to be present in every day situations with some simple tools.

WORLD

So you've had the push and you're looking deeper at everything your made of - congratulations. This is getting into the heavy lifting looking at a universal law - the golden ratio. To understand what your heart is, you can first look at the grand design. This is an important lesson before taking on the larger causes of stress in your life. 

This is a powerful guided meditation to expand love firstly outward into the world and then inward to connect with your heart.

Meet Jhaimy Alvarez-Alcosta, an Indigenous currandero (healers) from Cusco in Peru. In this short video, we can understand how our perception of something being good or bad is what really makes it so. This will help you to integrate these teachings into daily practice and remain present even when times are tough.
