Whatever you're dealing with in feet, you've come to the right place. The foot and ankle is one of our main areas of interest. The foot is very complicated so there's a lot that can go wrong with it.

Some things we hear about the foot and ankle can include:

"I can't put my foot down due to pain in the morning."

"My ankle's so loose it can roll when I'm walking."

"There's a sharp pain in the outside of my ankle when I land on it."

"The back of my heel is sore and aches every morning."

Treatment of your foot and ankle will need a thorough assessment by a good physio to identify pain generators like:

  • Achillies Tendinopathy

  • Plantar Fasciitis (Check our Blog)

  • Morton's neuroma

  • Tibialis Posterior Tendinopathy

  • Shin Splints

  • Navicular Stress fracture

  • Flexor Hallicus Longus tendinopathy

  • Calf strain

  • Ankle Instability

  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome

  • Calcaneal Nerve Entrapment

Treatments We Offer

Correctly treating foot and ankle pain often means looking at the whole person. Treatment needs to be focused around not only treating the injured structure, but also addressing how the injury happened in the first place. Some aspects of treatment should therefore include:

  • Biomechanical assessment and video analysis

  • Hands on treatment to restore mobility and reduce pain

  • Taping or orthotic management for support

  • Addressing posture and centre of mass changes which can come from old injuries

  • A progressive strengthening program to improve resilience and reduce pain

  • Discuss footwear and other factors that may be contributing to the problem.
